Return and Exchange Policies
The following are guidelines for returning or exchanging an item or items purchased from usbusinessmachines.com.
We reserve the right to amend the following policies on a customer to customer basis.
If you have any concerns about our policies, please call us at 602-863-0893, or contact us by email at customer.service@usbusinessmachines.com.
Upon receipt of your order, please inspect immediately, so that if there is a problem with the order, it can be resolved as quickly as possible. If an item needs to be returned contact us by phone, at 602-863-0893, or by email, at customer.service@usbusinessmachines.com. We will then issue a Return Authorization Number (RA #) which is required in order for us to accept the return.
Concerning Opened Items such as, but not limited to, Toner Cartridges, Drums, Ink Cartridges, etc:
These items will not be accepted for return, exchange or credit for any reason. Please make sure you have purchased the correct product before you open it.
Any products returned without prior Authorization and an issued RA# from USBM will not be processed, and returned to the customer, at the customer’s expense.
Equipment Returns
Unless equipment is defective, the item must be returned in “Sell-able Condition”, in original manufacturer’s box and the box must be intact and unopened. No Credit, Refund or Exchange will be made without a prior RA# issued from USBM.
For return of Equipment, USBM must be notified within 7days of the receipt of the item or we cannot accept the returned item for any reason. The item must be returned in the original packing even if defective.
To Exchange Defective Equipment
USBM must be notified within 7 days of the receipt of the item that is defective. In Some cases we will have to refer the customer to the manufacturer of said product. If the customer is not referred to the manufacturer for the defective item, we will assign a RA# and issue a UPS call tag for the item to be picked up. The customer will be billed for the replacement and then upon USBM receiving the defective item, we will credit the customer for the defective item. Upon the receipt of the authorized return, we will credit the customer’s card or account, or send a refund check or a replacement item. If the item is determined “NOT” defective solely by USBM , the returned item will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus the buyer will be responsible for any and all shipping charges incurred.
If you have received the incorrect item due to shipment error
If we have shipped the customer the incorrect item due to our mistake. We must be notified within 7 days of the receipt of such item(s). We will assign an RA# and issue a call tag for UPS to pick up the item at our expense. If need be, we will exchange the item(s) with the correct item(s), credit the customer’s card or account or send a refund check, once the item is received by USBM. The item(s) must be returned in the “unopened” original manufacturer’s box and in “sell-able” condition to be determined solely by USBM.
PLEASE NOTE:
NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES FOR "DEFECTIVE" OR "INCORRECTLY SHIPPED" ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED IF US BUSINESS MACHINES, INC. IS NOT NOTIFIED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF SUCH ITEMS. CONTACT USBM BY CALLING (602)863-0893 OR BY EMAIL AT customer.service@usbusinessmachines.com.
For General Returns
USBM must be notified within 7 days for the return to be authorized. We will then issue an RA# and the customer can ship the item(s) back to USBM. Upon receipt of the returned item(s), an inspection of the returned item will be done by USBM and if the item(s) are determined to be in "sell-able" condition, we will credit the price of the item(s) to the customer’s credit card or account, or issue a refund check. However, the return will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus any and all shipping charges incurred by the buyer. To receive credit, the item(s) must be unopened in the original manufacturer’s box and in “sell-able” condition.
SHIPPING AND SALES TAX
All orders shipped to addresses in the state of Arizona will be subject to 8.1% sales tax.
